Marie-Josée Kerschen

Knight of the national order of merit for cultural activities in Luxembourg 2022


since 1982 I am living and working as a professional sculptress in Vianden, Luxembourg.

After working marble and experimenting for some years with different materials, I always came back to the wood. Wood is my preferred medium, it is my language, I can feel the life of the wood and can communicate with it.

Sometimes I also work ceramics and bronze I choose for public works.
